Biography
Here’s my favorite category! This is where I can change the facts to whatever I want, and make me sound better than I am. Unfortunately, neither truth nor lies will aid me in my goal of achieving an agent, so I might as well write the truth as boring as it maybe.
Jerry W. Stokley Jr.
Born 10-19- Do you really need to know this!
BA Political Science UNC-Wilmington – Not much to tell here. I was like most young lost youths, drank too much, partied too much, and resisted the urge to go to class. You could find me in the recreation room hustling pool, with any undergrad I sized up as a potential sucker.

The answer you’ve all been waiting for! It was in the confines of these award winning films that I came to the conclusion that, I wanted to write scripts. So, like every want-to-be screenwriter, I bought the books, and something tells me you know exactly which books I am talking about. But, unlike most people, I had the advantage of talking to producers, directors, actors, and of course the beloved screenwriters. I drained them for every piece of information that I could grasp from their cold dead fingers. I read their scripts, and if I was lucky, they read one of mine. I always got encouraging feedback.
I’m getting closer to my goal. But like everyone, I need the opportunity!
