About
This is where I tell you why and how this site came to be. Easy enough. I’m a struggling screenwriter dangling on the east coast, hoping that the film industry will revive itself in Wilmington, NC. It seems after six years of Dawson’s Creek, there would be something on the horizon, something to give us hope, and tell us the drought is over. Yeah, there’s some trickling of small independent features every now and then, but nothing like the robust era of the early mid-nineties, when you could pick or choose between projects by using the never failing criteria of; how much, and how long. Those of you civilians who didn’t quite get that, it means; how much money, and how long is the show.
I
guess by now you’ve gathered that I work in the film industry. And you're
wondering why I need a website to show my unproduced scripts, which is
a real good question. It is because I’ve always worked as a driver; cast,
personal, camera, props, stakebeds, and the best gig of all, the set dressing
truck. I’ve seen the world of film through many eyes, garnered good relationships,
and received solid criticism on several of my earlier works, along with
a few, "Hey you need to take this script to LA." Well, hopefully I will
someday with the help of this site. Now, this is all honesty here, I am
really wondering who is still reading this page. If you’re the lucky one,
please take the time to send me the answer to this question; who is the
protagonist in the short, "The Obituary?"
Help! I need an agent, food, and water!
