A Struggling, bottom-rung newspaper reporter responsible for the daily obituaries unexpectedly discovers a mysterious stranger, a mild-mannered gentleman whose untimely demise has been reported in error.
The cast and crew list of the Obituary reads like a who’s-who of Wilmington’s professional film industry, including Dawson’s Creek script supervisor Thom Rainey in his directorial debut.
The Obituary opened at the Cucalorus Film Festival in March 2003, and was selected to the Valleyfest Independent Film Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee the same year.
