Men Who Ride Mountains
To surf the big waves is to know fear. It’s an integral, inescapable part of the experience. Oahu’s North Shore is surfing’s undisputed capital of fear. And nowhere in the world is more nervous energy, worry, and adrenaline directed toward the deceptively simple act of riding waves. This script is a fictional account of the first men to ride those waves.
Antapodosis [Tit for Tat]
St. Tropez, France, where decadence and excess run wild amongst the social elite, sets the tone for Devan’s perverse love that hinges on hatred, and jealousy toward his young, beautiful, sister, Abrielle. He uses her to draw men into an uncompromising position, and then extorts their weaknesses for profit. Devan’s run-of-luck goes awry, when he challenges an unenthusiastic victim, who thrives to turn the tables on Devan’s seedy, little game. Abrielle’s desire to part from her brother’s grasp, and into the arms of an American, only fuels the confusion and anger, buried deep inside of Devan, and ultimately to his demise.
